    B7 S4 wheels on a B6 A4?

First mail service guys. I checked out the wheel viscid and searched simply wasnt able to detect a clear reply.

I have a stock 2003 3.0 A4 quattro and the stock rims (17") are looking pretty tired. Would I be able to fit the eighteen" B7 S4 split 7 spoke wheels without needing spacers or modifications?
I believe the stock offset is +35 and the B7's are +42.

    Thanks!

all B6/B7 OEM wheels are (except RS4) ~ET43, and use the same hub size (57.1mm)/bolt pattern (5x112), and then no problem there.

Any bike on a b/c/d v/6/8 will commodities on to whatever other audi. The exception being the b8 generation and newer as they have a larger centerbore. The standard centerbore is 57.1 and the bolt pattern is 5x112. Most audis newer than 2009 apply a larger centerbore only Sam bolt pattern.

Ah HA!! Almost....aaaalllllmoooost. The FWD Audi'due south are typically ET54'ish. You lot need roughly 8mm spacers to be condom. And there are several OEM wheels that come up in both FWD and AWD showtime- though... not the case with the S4 wheel I'd gauge.

    Bowwow!

wha? the mill wheel start on B5/B6/B7 FWD models is no different from their AWD counterparts.

Non true, I don't think?- I've had 2 sets of B7/ A4 standard wheels that have had 2 different offsets- the first set was ET54 and I had to run spacers to go them on my old A6. And The A6 my wife drives now has the ezzakt same wheels, with ET46. Though...to exist honest....at present that I've had a beer, I think it'due south possible that the starting time set may have originated on an A3. Sooooo...maybe I suck.
These wheels, but both sets I've owned were painted terminate.

    1) those aren't B6/B7 wheels - pretty certain they are from an A3

    2) having different offsets for FWD and AWD could brand no sense, as the entire front stop is the same with the exception of the head size (but not length) of the CV joints, which are slightly larger on FWD, but can be used on AWD besides. I have a fiddling fleck of experience in this area ;-)

I believe those are A3 wheels every bit Matt said. My b7 has a identical fashion though, simply normal a4 offset, et45 or 43 can't remember which.

I know for a fact they came on the B7 A4 new, maybe even the A6. also. Seen them on the lot installed and on at least 1 A4 around town, tin can also attest to the fact that in that location are indeed 2 different offsets- but...yeah, my old fix was probably originally an A3 bike. Anyway...bottom line is there'south virtually e'er an exception to the dominion.

My tire blew this morning so I am looking for a bump on this. The thread got a petty off rails and I couldnt follow it.

Just want to brand sure that the OEM B7 S4 dual spoke (either 17" or 18", whichever I can find) will bolt onto my B6 A4 without issue.

    Thanks again.

Yes they volition bolt on no bug what so e'er, the offset isnt bad and you volition similar the wait of the cycle sitting a little more affluent then your stock cycle. The center bore and bolt blueprint is the exact same. Audi didnt modify center bores until 2009

The size of the wheel is pretty irrelevant. If its an OEM Audi wheel 17" or above there is a very very good run a risk that it will fit.
